Description
A hilarious history tour through the seriously skanky past lurking behind the "posh" New Town facade. Discover sex, drugs and Scotland’s first purpose-built comedy club (not that one). Edinburgh’s New Town might think she’s a cut above her grubbier sister, the Old Town, but she forgets her own dodgy past… There’s a whiff of scandal everywhere. No wonder the curtains twitch. Behind them you’ll find world-class courtesans, bonking bankers and outdoor sex parties. Yes, in Scotland. Brave, given the weather. That's the funny thing about history. It’s funny. Don’t forget to wear sensible shoes. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
