Description
Hey, this is Paul’s show. Well done, you’ve found it! He’s a Northern Irish comedian and he’s talking about butter beans. But not really. It’s a metaphor for feelings and that, see! It’s very clever. And funny. Come see! 'An inexplicable delight' (Chortle.co.uk). 'Glorious' (Comedy.co.uk). 'Paul McDaniel is f*cking brilliant' (Janey Godley). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Paul is a very funny, deadpan comic. The metaphor, interspersed with funny routines, makes for a really engaging hour.

One of the funniest comedians around just now. This new show is brilliant, with a really clever metaphor. Definitely the best comedy show relating to Butter Beans I have ever seen.

Paul has you fooled, thinking he's messed up the AV or made a mistake, but no, it's all part of the show. Love his style and perceptions. Can't wait to see more and follow his career and comedy.
Butterbeans has been giving me epiphanies for days after the show.

Paul's style is to put himself down but he is an excellent comedian - I almost felt sorry for him as his delivery is quite sad, but he is very funny, superb one liners and it was a very quick hour as I was engaged throughout.

Paul is a great comic, and this show is brilliantly crafted. It builds momentum as it goes, with plenty of laughs along the way, until you reach the finale when everything comes together. Highly recommended.
