Description

Scottish Conservative Party Leader since 2020. Elected MP for Moray in 2017, re-elected in 2019. Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Scotland from 2019 to 2020. Government whip until 2020. Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Highlands and Islands since 2021. Previously an MSP from 2016 to 2017. Councillor on Moray Council from 2007 to 2017. Born in Moray, educated at Forres Academy and the Scottish Agricultural College. Prior to entering politics pursued a career in farming. A qualified football referee, Douglas lives with his wife Krystle and their two sons.

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: Stand 3 is accessible from the pavement with steps leading to a courtyard. The venue is situated in the basement part of the building. There are 15 steps in total with a 90 degree turn on a stone staircase with handrails. Once inside the Stand 3 has a further 3 steps indoors before leading to the main space. Staff are always available to assist, however we cannot help to carry customers.

    • Wheelchair access type: Not fully wheelchair accessible

  • Stairs: 11- 20
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue

  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
