Description

Feminine human beings begin the process of metamorphosis around 10 years of age. They are taught to desert flowers they have grown and watch them wilt, trading their blossoms for apples, and allowing them to decay by bacteria or fungi. Do they choose to suffer in isolation or revolt against biology (which may ruin them)? In a story told through puppetry, music, and verbatim, three beings abandon and reclaim their identities during a bio-revolution in a world not made for them. The funeral for Bearry Styles begins at 11:25 AM.

Excellent and disturbing. Watching a play on this topic with my two daughters and wife might not have been the best idea, but I'm glad we did.

Beelzeboob was a stand out performer, dominating the stage and controlling the whole theatre. There was no way to not pay attention to her, which worked perfectly for misdirecting the audience while stage management happened. In fact, the most notable part of this production was the resource management, from time to actors to props... no movement, speech or action was wasted and the play was choreographed perfectly to share the author's messages.

The author's message was one of inclusion, even within a topic that superficially seems exclusionary. Well done everyone!
