NHS anaesthetist, comedian and author Ed Patrick injects the Edinburgh Fringe with a gut-punch show about becoming a junior doctor, the NHS, the pitfalls of modern medicine and the power of questioning it. General venue access

  • Accessible entry: Stand 3 is accessible from the pavement with steps leading to a courtyard. The venue is situated in the basement part of the building. There are 15 steps in total with a 90 degree turn. Once inside the Stand 3 has a further 3 steps indoors before leading to the main space. Staff always available to help and assist access customers where appropriate.
  • Wheelchair access type: Not fully wheelchair accessible

  • Stairs: 11- 20
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter

  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
