Description
In the similar style of the wildly popular The Play that Goes Wrong, this production follows a company of actors attempting to perform 7 different shows at once and everything starts to fall apart when doing so. The conceit of ZAP is that audiences have a remote control to click when they are bored and ready to watch something else. When enough people have clicked their button the lights go out and ZAP! we are watching a new play. When this starts happening too fast and too often, mistakes begin to occur and the laughs get louder. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Although obviously well rehearsed the issue right from the start especially for the young early teen we brought with us was the no real Zappers and length of the show. Wasn't interactive as show description said and several people walked out during the show. Some funny moments but overall disappointed.

The "remote controls in the audience" were only imaginary; the performance was all pre-planned and every actor clearly knew what their next appearance was going to be. The actors did their best with the material they had, and a lot of rehearsal had clearly gone into this complex show, but it just didn't do it for us.

No. There are no controllers and zero audience interaction. Several couples walked out before we also left. We were very disappointed that the description did not match the performance
