You're SO F**king Croydon! explores noughties club culture and female resilience, interweaving music, dance, comedy, spoken word and Croydon celebrities. It's a f**k you in pink to the cant's and wont's and a strut down Croydon High Street in 2003. Featuring David Bowie.

Heard about this show from the roving director. It has been nominated for an award and we can see why . Very different type of show. Excellent performance music and script. Worth a watch.

This show is a perfect after lunch pick-me-up! It's fun and energetic with a darker undercurrent that packs a punch. Katie is a charismatic performer who you will adore by the end of the show. You might also find yourself a little bit fonder of Croydon!

Really brilliant one hour show. Basically one woman show that took you on a journey of a whole range of emotion making you laugh and bring a tear to your eye. Riveting performance that really connected with the audience. 10/10

Katie from the Cronx has made and performed a superb hour of comedy, multimedia cleverness, top tunes, dance and drama. Sharing dubious cocktails and innovative costumes with a captivated audience Katie has done more for Croydon than Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ever managed.

A chance meeting with Katie as she flyered around Edinburgh wearing a massive sandwich board, and her delightful personality persuaded me to pick this show for my final fringe day.

My wife was puzzled as club culture & 90s Noughties pop nostalgia isn’t entirely my thing, but Katie’s superb play is more about finding out where you belong, and while you can take the girl out of Croydon, there’s much that remains very much part of her.

The audience were under her spell as she wove her story with spoken word, songs, dancing and high energy. There’s even bits of stand up, and it’s a joy to spend time in this lady’s company. It’s NOT a musical, you don’t need to know the names of DJs, or slang of any kind, its a superb play about a young lady finding her way, wearing her heart on her sleeve, head in the clouds, but clever enough to have her feet on the ground.

Go see this brill play, you’ll be glad you went

You don't have to be from Croydon (but I am) to enjoy this funny, challenging, beautifully devised and acted show. I literally laughed and cried.

As a Croydonite of over fifty years I couldn’t not go to a show with this name. But I can tell anyone reading this review that the only advantage that gives you may involve a packet of crisps. Katie is a captivating bundle of energy and talent who tells an interesting and slightly familiar story in an amazing way. I urge you to go and see this show even if you don’t know where Croydon is.

A fantastic one-woman show from Katie! Dramatic and hilarious, the ambition and immersion of bringing Croydon to Edinburgh is nothing but a complete success!!

I should warn you ahead of time, that while I'm not literally from Croydon, I am most definitely From Croydon.

Packed with fun, crisps, nostalgia, dancing and ill-advised drinks, Katie Hurley delivers what starts as an acerbic take-down of her home town, before becoming more and more introspective and relatable. Anyone who has left home only to later return as a different, wiser, more complete person will get it; anyone who hasn't may well be inspired to spread their wings. Go watch as soon as you can!

OMAFG!!! This show is EVERYTHING!!!

I went because I'm from Croydon, so I was curious, a bit homesick, expected to encounter a bit of familiarity. And yes, it ticked all my boxes in those departments. But it did SO much more!

What I did not expect was a moving, funny, raw and honest dive into someone's life that resonated deeply. The universal themes were explored so well, but for me there was an added layer where the personal resonated too! I was quite broken at the end and did not see that emotional release coming at all!

Katie Hurley gives a brilliant performance. Early on there is a joke about how many shows at Edinburgh are identity stories of personal exploration. They are. And many of them are a bit crap. But if she hadn't flagged it, I wouldn't have even realised that's what I was watching. The structure misleads beautifully, the script is sharp, funny, harsh and poetic and you never know which one you're getting next.

If you've ever experienced a messy life or tried to cut loose from limiting roots, if you've ever had dark times, looked for escape in unhealthy places - or you've ever been to Croydon - GO AND SEE THIS SHOW!!!

And if you haven't, but you love great theatre, then also GO AND SEE THIS SHOW.

Actually... JUST GO AND SEE THIS SHOW!!!!
