Description

This 'memorable', 'dynamic and vibrant' show fills the stage with 'charisma' and 'boundless energy' as 'natural-born performers' dance to 'an upbeat tune of elation' (Entertainment-Now.com), (BroadwayWorld.com). An all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza celebrating South Africa's 12 official languages, sprinkled with that incredible township vibe. Audiences commented that the talent was infinitely prevalent and the hour was most definitely well spent! A celebration of something much bigger than just a show that will give you a spring in your step when you leave. ***** (Entertainment-Now), ***** (BroadwayWorld.com), **** (MervsPotFringe.com). Winner: Mervyn Stutter's Spirit of the Fringe Award. Nominee: Offies 2023. www.yesyayebo.com

By far my favourite show of the whole fringe! So much energy and a level of talent I can only begin to fathom. I walked out absolutely bouncing and beaming. The entire cast were phenomenal, and I loved the educational aspect and getting to have such an insight into how rich in culture all regions of South African really are. I hope this show receives all the praise and funding it deserves. I would happily pay a lot more to see this group again, they deserve it!

Outstanding upbeat performance from an amazing group of youngsters each from their own township in South Africa. Wonderful entertainment with a little insight into the lives of each one of them, leading to the first flight for each one of them, getting them here! A breath of fresh air! Don’t miss it!

I absolutely loved this show! I give 6 stars!!! It was so creative, and authentic. The performers were extremely talented with a combination of singing, dancing, stomping and beatboxing. The narrative through the show was also really well constructed. I wanted to jump up and dance with the cast. I hope they come back next year!
