Description
As William Wallace lies in a London dungeon awaiting trial, he knows his fate is sealed. Here we see the man behind the legend. Brought back from 2023, this is a must-see performance of power and heart. Bobby Bulloch is outstanding as he brings the life of Wallace to life, and lets the audience see the man rather than the legend. Getting rave reviews from audience members, its a must-see piece of heart-wrenching theatre. 'Just stunning' (Audience review). 'Cried for ages after watching this show' (Audience review). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Bobby Bulloch delivers a powerful, intense and raw performance as Wallace. He had the audience in the palm of his shackled hands as he told the visceral and bloody events leading to Wallace’s capture and execution… Well worth seeing

Wow, what a powerful show. One man, so many emotions. A real tour-de force. There was so much ground covered in 50 minutes and I was rapped throughout. If you want to see a great show this festival you can do a lot worse then this. Definitely recommended with a fill five stars from me.

Powerful, visceral, raw storytelling. I left with a far deeper comprehension of the brutality and intensity of those times along with a renewed appreciation for Scottish history as a whole.

The performer was fantastically embodying the Scottish warrior/traitor/father. Absolutely worth seeing.

I saw this show on Weds 7th.
I arrived thinking I knew something about William Wallace, and left realising how little I had known. The very immersive performance from Bobby Bulloch was totally engaging. It was like I was transported back in time. The events and experiences were brought to life, in a multi sensory way, through the script.
Well done.

Seen this show yesterday with my 8 friends. I am Irish and couldn’t believe the history of this. Bobby was amazing shackled in bare feet. Bobby was outstanding. He should be on the West end or Board way shows. Everyone was clued to this Wallace show. Acting amazing. Couldn’t believe how good this actor was. Good luck on your next adventures and if you haven’t seen this show. You should go and see. Highly recommend. Well Done Bobby

If you want to see a piece of Scottish history brought to life don't miss Wallace, and the outstanding performance of Bobby Bulloch. I was totally immersed from the opening line. It was intense, and sorrowful. If you only see one play at this year's fringe make it Wallace.
