I saw this show last week and laughed start to end. Heartwarming, anarchic, surprisingly gentle at times and just pure silly. Lead man gave it everything and was just fun to watch, supporting cast were brilliant and the guitar player was fantastic.

If you’re a fan of John Otway, this is a must see! If you’ve never heard of John Otway, this is still a must see! Energetic fast paced show with a cast that can keep up. Really enjoyed myself, so much so I’ve seen it twice now and hope to catch it again before my trip is over. Highly recommend

The angst-ridden existence of student house sharers releases musical mayhem thanks to an energetic cast revelling in a world that once belonged to The Young Ones and Withnail and I.

This is a delightful comedy professionally performed. Wonderful acting and singing of John Otway’s unique songs. Well worth seeing. A joyful start to an evening.

Without knowing a thing about John Otway, I still found Verbal Diary quirky, highly energetic, clever, and worth watching. Truly beautiful musical moments shine through a well-devised romp in this introvert's life...with solid supporting performances by a tight-knit cast. Go see it!
