Description

Good Kentish girl Poppy wakes to find herself naked next to her ex, who isn't really her ex, Scouser Freddie. Struggling to piece together the night before, they gradually reach the horrifying revelation that they are married. Sounds pretty rock'n'roll, right? But this isn't Vegas, this is a BnB in Slough. Stuck together in the honeymoon suite, Poppy and Freddie are forced to confront what once went wrong and, crucially, decide whether to get an annulment. Oh, and they have an hour until they need to check out. What happens next? You'll have to wait and see...

Loved this! It's really sharp and funny (and with poignant moments that are perforned really movingly), and beautifully written and performed. Definitely recommended!

What an incredible show. I had the pleasure of seeing VEGAS for the first time today - a thoroughly and masterfully written script brought to life by arguably the most dynamic duo at the Fringe. The pair’s skilful comedic timing, combined with their ability to lay bare their vulnerability, creates the perfect concoction for a heartfelt, sincere and important piece of theatre. I look forward to being part of the audience again!

Rapid fire backchat entertainment from two actors with great chemistry. OK, so the premise of the play is not quite credible, but hey, you’ve got to start somewhere and this is a great hook to hang a story on. And at the heart of the story there are credible real world twists to give you pause.
