Awww this show was absolutely delightful! The performance is so natural, you feel like you're just sitting in an art class with your coolest high school art teacher - who just so happens to be Vincent Van Gogh!

Performing as Vincent Van Gogh, the performer tells you about his (Van Gogh's) life, focusing on key moments that highlight misunderstood moments and offer opportunities to dig into life philosophy. This show is a mix of history, biography, character, social commentary, and philosophy.

The walls of the room are covered in art - much of it created by the performer, with quite a bit created by audience members. The audience is given the option to sit at the inner table and paint or draw, or to sit along the outer circle and just listen and watch. I opted to draw (you should too!). There is no pressure and no expectation.

It's an incredibly relaxing and uplifting experience -and quite a unique moment in the chaos of the fringe. I left feeling inspired and motivated and joyful. HIghly recommend!

A beautiful way to spend an hour, if you like to draw or paint it's a good way to do this with some like minded people, if you don't then it's lovely just to spend an hour listening to a passionate lover of art and life tell you their story, either way, no judgement.
Definitely one to watch, you will leave full of joy.

A very delightfully moving tale of Van Gogh's life. Revealing, touching, relaxing and immersive. Unlike any other show. See it.

Superb. I've never been to a show where a solo performer is willing to sacrifice focus on themselves to make room for building connections between audience members and the artworks they create at the show. Unlike anything else in the fringe. Go and see this, it's a festival highlight.

A wonderful way to connect with the person behind the art. You really feel as though you’re spending time with Vincent himself. And the opportunity to make a little art makes it fun and interactive. Five stars. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this hour spent with Vincent. Moving, heart warming and thought provoking, all with the comfort of paper and crayons to give a relaxed context for the piece. Loved it.

Go to see this show! Amidst the hustle and craziness of the fringe, we spent a wonderfully calming and creative hour making art while engrossed in the inspirational storytelling of Van Gogh. Like others present I’d always told myself (or been told) that I was rubbish at art. Vincent provided the space to give myself permission to express myself. Vincent (or his modern day reincarnation) was reassuring but also urged us to challenge ourselves and society. I go to a LOT of different shows but this one is truly special and has stuck deep in my psyche. I implore you to try it. You have literally nothing to lose (it’s free!). Maybe you’ll discover that, given the right environment, you too can make art.
