Description
A heartfelt, heartbreaking, crass and hilarious look into the relationship of two childhood friends gone wrong reuniting at a wedding... what could go wrong? When the other walks into a room, their boundaries turn to mush. What happens when a part of you wants to be with someone so badly, but the other part of you is too afraid of the world to even try to admit it? As her sister’s wedding party continues in the next room, they tackle infidelity, fatphobia, dating politics and their painful history – maybe the whisky helps, maybe it doesn’t.Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Gorgeous play about right person wrong time. The acting was wonderful, and the play was clearly very well rehearsed. Really really enjoyed it!

Good script, well acted. Excellent piece of drama. Really worth visiting. They deserve to succeed and reach a large audience!

A wonderfully delicate ‘will they, won’t they?’ with fine writing and performances. Allie and James shine with their chemistry, putting the audience at ease as soon as the play begins. Balancing arguments and uncomfortable conversations can be difficult onstage with risks of repetition and losing the audience, but the pair find ways to make every interaction fresh and engaging to watch, especially during their more poignant moments of bittersweet silence and candid dialogue. With these performances, a great team behind the scenes and fantastic venue, this show deserves a longer run!
