Description

Enter the world of university lecturer Cassandra, living in “close-call-apocalypse-averted” times, aka the 2030s. Ride the rollercoaster of her life with her as she wonders why things in the past were so crazy. Prepare for some collective therapy and a dose of rekindled imagination as you join her journey. Will she choose to continue to pray at the Temple of Conformity? Can she believe what the mirror of her life reflects back to her? Cutting edge theatre, live music and immersive projection set in Edinburgh and brought to you by a German, Australian and Scottish team.

Loved this. A well written and articulate piece beautifully presented on stage with video content usefully illustrating the narrative. Plus live music to round the presentation - thank you for a mature, mentally refreshing hour.

this was a lovely and quirky show and pulled a lot of important ideas together. the psychology aspects were very interesting and well explained through multi media, the chocolate at the end was such a nice touch!

I loved this mutli media mixture that carried important information in a thought provoking and stimulating way. The very skilled musicians and the songs they brought fitted really effectively to the whole piece. Highly recommend it.

A thought provoking show, at times uncomfortable and yet also hopeful.

If we want half the population of the world to be able to fully offer their gifts, skills and brilliance to society (and the environment as a whole) this is a must see as an exploration into all our unconscious (and maybe at times conscious) biases.

The talented musicians also offer a haunting and beautiful addition to the play.

Wonderfully thought provoking show. A TED talk from 2035 taking us through a hopeful future looking back at how vital trauma informed practice and addressing deep-seated misogyny can deliver a brighter future

Heartfelt performance from “Cassie” and superbly backed up by 3 live musicians. So powerful and really leaves you thinking about how we can all make changes in our households if we want to change the world.

This is thought-provoking entertaining theatre. Deserves to be seen by men and women. The musical trio is a class act providing a beautiful accompaniment. This father of a daughter found the young girls’ voices in the audio-visual The Dream Gap particularly moving, and haunting. Well worth seeing. It does not disappoint.

Beautiful music accompanying the performance, truly elavated the show. Acoustic with bitter sweet vocals, gave the whole thing a cinematic feel. Perfect for the quietly thoughtful afternoon!
