Description
The Tweeds, an eclectic group of privileged students, are out hunting when the newest member accidentally shoots the club president, Babette, in the head. After her death the group spirals, but the situation only gets stranger when Babette shows up to the next club meeting completely unharmed. Is she a clone? A doppelganger? Marvellous cast and intriguing script which begins light hearted, flippant and very funny but which then visits some surprisingly dark places. Cracking show

Darkly hilarious and full of mystery, Tweeds is a thrilling and surprisingly tense play by Minotaur theatre company that has definitely made me more interested in their other work. Definitely recommend.

A show well worth seeing, it's dark with comedic overtones. The team from Minotaur Theatre Company present a mature, complex and well performed play with questions that linger on with you long after you have left the theatre. The writer, director and completely brilliant team of actors are well worth following as they launch into their future careers.

Hilarious. Thought-provoking and just downright fun.
These are some of the words one can use when describing a show like 'Tweeds', an immaculately performed comedy-drama-thriller with elements of pure horror thrown in to truly keep you on your toes.
The cast are fantastic, balancing incredible comedic timing with nuanced and subtle dramatic acting in a blend that never feels forced or jarring, it's truly a treat to watch them bounce off one another and ponder the endless concepts that writer Tabs Nixon equips them with in her fantastically written script.
I was sceptical at first when entering the venue, knowing it was a Student theatre company didn't fill me with immediate hope for the quality of the show but I throw my hands up and admit my foolishness on this one, such a delight and a real treat.
This show is not to be missed, catch it whilst you can because this certainly isn't the last you'll be hearing of this talented bunch.

Fantastic performance. Great blend of comedy and intrigue. Cast were fantastic and loved the venue and staging. Brilliant script and production. Loved the music during the scene changes. Well done to the cast, tech team and the directors.

Ok, that was bananas. Surely the craziest murder-mystery since Andy Kaufman disappeared on us, this is a must-see and a don't-blink!

I saw Tweeds on its opening night, and it was brilliant. An incredible performance from all of the actors especially “Lucas Reid”, whose energy on stage was brilliantly tense. The writing had rhythm, was smart, funny and even as the play descended into darker themes it maintained an air of balance to it. I’d highly recommend popping over to Tweeds if you love a good mystery, good wardrobes, and a wonderful time!

A Witty and Engaging Performance - A Must-See at the Fringe
I had the pleasure of attending Tweets at the Fringe, and it was an absolute delight! The show brilliantly blends humor, satire, and a touch of reality in a way that keeps the audience engaged from start to finish. The performers brought a unique energy to the stage, delivering sharp and witty lines that resonated with everyone in the room.

The best show I’ve seen so far at the Fringe. A good, original story performed by a talented bunch of actors. The projection of the voices could have been a little better towards the start of the production, but I would put that down to a few nerves (I went on their opening night). Tweeds has just the right amount of comedy to make the show a thoroughly enjoyable watch, without descending into silliness. 50 minutes pretty much flew by - this is the first performance I have been to where I didn’t check my watch for the time. Whilst the actress who played Babette was particularly good, all of the cast made valuable contributions to the charm of the production. I hope the cast returns for next year’s Fringe. I’ll be keeping my eye out to see what they come up with next.
