Description

Begin your festival morning with Tim's new, high-energy stand up show. Starting married life living on a canal boat, this laidback hippy panics – and takes a job as a mechanic. All to be viewed as a "proper married bloke". Can this calamitous captain become a grease monkey? Or will his in-laws' dubious scheme offer him a way out of the rat race? 'Assured the audience they were in a for decent night' (Chortle.co.uk). 'A rare breed indeed. Great jokes among well-crafted stories' (Indie Comedy Review).

Tim has done it again! His knack for storytelling and for creating a warm and friendly environment for the audience make the hour fly by in almost constant laughter. He's not a prop comic but I give him props for the ones he did use as they were very effective!

A truly talented and funny guy, the show was delivered so smoothly, quickly bouncing off the energy in the room. Though he had more than enough material of his own. One I won't forget, can't wait to see you at Hammersmith Apollo, thanks for the funnies.

Tim's show was the best I've seen during the Fringe, if you get the chance to watch him during the Fringe or any other event near you, just go you won't regret it :)
It was pleasant to receive Tim's good energy, fun and kindness in a great and intimite atmosphere, in which he engaged with the group!
This show is a good way to point out question that we all go through while growing up to adulthood.
It was absolutely lovely to meet Tim and his wife, the bubbly young woman that gave me the flyer! Great vibe, would love to see more :)

Tim had me laughing all the way through his relatable random life. He’s your younger cousin at a boring family event who wise cracks. He’s also Jeff Spicoli from Fast Times At Ridgemont High.

What a good start to the day this was. Very intimate venue which suited his gig perfectly. Tim is a compelling story teller and engaged with us in such a way that we all wanted to be involved. No pressure to though. There were lots of laughs and I found him interesting and intriguing. Came across as a thoroughly nice man who I will look
out for in the future. Would recommend this show to anyone as I expect the dynamics change with every different audience.

A comedy legend! This is the second year our family of 5 has been to see Tim and we love him. Tim is funny, charming and engaging. We will be back again next year for sure

Dropped into Tim’s show as I was nearby and had time before my next booked show, and I’m so pleased I did. What a lovely engaging, welcoming, gentle and very funny man he is. He’s a great story teller and involves the audience (kindly) in the telling of his tales about his quest to be a “proper man”. I love comedy and am delighted that I’ve discovered Tim. Will definitely seek him out again in the future.
P.S. he was so much better then the show I’d booked and was waiting to go to…

We got a flyer at the perfect time and was not disappointed. Totally engaged with the audience. This man needs a bigger room for his comedy. It went by so quickly. His funny stories about living in a canal boat, his time as an apprentice and basically taking the piss out of himself and how he looks! Absolute gem of a show during the fringe. One of my favourites. I will be keeping an eye out for him again!!
