I was absolutely blown away by this youth group from China! Their play, centered around a young man on trial for murdering his father, was an emotional tour de force. Despite their age, each cast member delivered a performance that was both powerful and convincing. I was especially moved by the final juror’s monologue, which brought me to tears.
The production included subtitles, but the acting was so compelling that you could follow the story even without them. The use of lighting and choreography added an extra layer of drama, enhancing the overall impact.
My only critique is that the stage felt a bit small for such an ambitious production. However, the sheer emotive power of the performances more than made up for this.
This is a must-see performance! Don’t miss it!

A beautifully staged and thoughtful piece, featuring great acting from a young cast. Thought provoking and very powerful!
