Description
A mind-reading show from Berlin! Enter a surreal world where mind-reading is normal! This show combines handmade vintage-style visuals with the strange skills of two savants from Berlin. In a dialogue between animated short films and paranormal experiments, the two mind-readers bow to the beauty of 1920s Berlin, and a mystical childhood in Brazil. Surreal is a surprising, dreamy and, above all, interactive experience. ‘Absolutely astonishing!’ (Uri Geller). ‘Internationally acclaimed intuitive-duo Roman von Thurau and Vivian take their audience on a truly trippy ride into the inexplicable’ (Sugarhigh). ‘You are amazing!’ (TV Sweden). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. were we hypnotised
or could they see right through us?
we won't sleep tonight
The dashing duo Roman von Thurau and Vivian Sommer (Sonambul) dazzle their audience with their ability to read - and/or influence? - our minds in a delightfully quirky and artistic manner. Afterwards strangers turned to each other flummoxed: What the devil did just happen?!
No matter what I tell you, you won't be prepared. Go see for yourself in the befitting atmosphere of the The Provincial Grand Lodge of Edinburgh.

Two extremely unique and intriguing personalities commanding the stage with excellent storytelling and magical twists - kept me engaged and on the edge of my seat with excitement and I wanted to hear what would come out of each of their mouths next.

Roman and Vivien are very entertaining and leave the audience wondering just how they do it. Vivien has the most soothing voice and the show was enhanced by her beautiful art work.

Roman and Vivian put on a fantastic show, filled with very clever and smoothly staged mind reading. I loved the videos and storytelling, as well as the charming way that the show was put together, making it feel like you've stepped into a different world for a while. The audience was kept enthralled by the amazing skills and accuracy of the mind reading. This show is a must-see! ☆☆☆☆☆

Not just a lovely old-fashioned mind-reading show, this is a lush and immersive piece of theatre. The theatricality of the staging and the characters of the performers lift it to another level. This is a show that feels slightly set apart from everyday life, with a magical realist atmosphere enhanced by animated projections and the venue itself.

Come for the polished mind-reading, stay for the timeless charm! Roman and Vivian create a delightful world onstage where it's easy to believe in their magic - especially when they pick you.

Truly excellent show, its so clever because everyone assumes it's an audience plant - until it's you who's picked. Mind-bendingly brilliant and leaves everyone puzzled.
