Description
The Suicide Club. A macabre and grotesque tale by Stevenson. A show about the value of life and its price. Who must die? Who needs to be humiliated? By drawing a card from the deck, spectators will decide the fate of the characters and the ending will change every time. What will be the fate of Prince Florizel? Will he be able to save himself or will he also risk dying? Suicide or murder? A contemporary show, in which spoken word theatre, physical theatre and the theatre of the absurd come together. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. The mystery, magic and sensuality of a secret, Victorian club. The performance mixes dance with an absurd text in this ritual of the night, where gentleman, tired of life, enter to seek the ultimate thrill in this mischievous show. There’s nothing quite like it!

Wow! Due to the triggering themes this won’t appeal to everyone but for me this was s stunning piece of highly crafted theatre. It takes us on a journey from birth, beautifully choreographed & illustrated using DaVinci’s Vatruvian man, through to death. The journey is powerful & the energy in the room is palpable! Recommended.
