Description

The play charts the lives of seven women and one man attempting to tap their troubles away at a weekly dancing class. Initially all thumbs and left feet, the group is just getting to grips with the basics when they are asked to take part in a charity gala. Over the course of several months we meet the group, and all of them have a story to tell. There’s perfectionist Vera, mouthy Maxine, uptight Andy, bubbly Sylvia, shy Dorothy, eager Lynne, cheerful Rose, and, of course, Geoffrey. At the piano is the dour Mrs Fraser.

We come each year and see your shows as part of the Fringe and this was the best yet! Brilliant performances and a fantastic set. Loved the dancing! It was obvious how much you were all enjoying yourselves - I played Vera several years ago and know how much fun this show is to perform! Well done on a fab evening 's entertainment!

I would like to congratulate the cast and absolutely everyone involved in this production. It was absolutely superb, humorous, entertaining and every single character was portrayed brilliantly. The music, the set and the front of house and the nice touches e.g. being able to get a coffee easily in the interval made every aspect of this show a pleasure to attend. Well done to the superb cast, producers and absolutely everyone who made it a pleasure to attend.

Saw 'Stepping Out' last night and thought it was fantastic. The cast were great at bringing each of their individual characters to life, the humour was well-sustained throughout and the ending was joyous. It was a wonderful way to spend an evening and if you're looking for something to see that's away from the hustle and bustle of the town then I thoroughly recommend it!
