Beware, Edinburgh – Steffen Hånes returns as The Master to terrify and delight those brave enough to enter his spooky lair. All creatures of the night are welcome... “WTF” - spent an hour not knowing that the hell was going on but kind of enjoyed it anyway. Definitely an experience and found ourselves quoting “WTF”, “Emily”, “I’m coming in now” and “Spooky” all day today, so it has had a lasting impact. This bizzare-ness is what the fringe is all about.

The Master is a simple premise with hilarious results. Haanes' amatuer vampire has fantastic interplay with the audience and everything that comes out of his 'spooky' mouth left us in stitches.

"The Master" is a fantastic show that lingers with you long after it’s over. I found myself quoting it days later with friends. If you appreciate a touch of absurdity and "spooky lights", do yourself a favor and experience "The Master." While I only caught a brief 15-minute segment of "The Ritual" and missed its final full performance, I made it a point not to miss "The Master," and it was well worth it.
