Description
Following her hit show Medico, Stefania Licari returns with a brand-new stand-up hour. Drawing on her experience as an NHS doctor, first-generation migrant, comedian and sometime endurance runner, she explores the diverse roles of women in today's world. From the operating theatre to the theatre stage, via an ultra-marathon through the Sahara, Stefania reflects on the big question: what are we running to and from? Multi award-winning Stefania sold out venues and earned rave reviews for Medico. Her follow-up promises to deliver her most personal, thought-provoking and side-splitting material yet. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Stefania has crafted the perfect successor to her show from the previous year. Telling us a story of strength in hostile environments, determination to carry the torch for her foremothers with the best weapon in her storytelling arsenal - playfulness and laughter

An excellent show, covering a range of experiences, woven together in a compelling story, and expertly delivered with passion and humour.
Stefania is thoroughly engaging throughout the show, which ends with a dramatic and poignant finale, wrapping up the strands of the narrative. All in all, a clever, hilarious and moving show.

Stefania exudes joy, energy and mischief. She weaves strands of her life story into an excellent show that challenges and educates as well as entertains. She performs it all with lots of passion, pathos and pertinent points - a really worthwhile watch.

Pours her heart and soul into a remarkable performance. On a different level to a typical standup show
