Description

'Sometimes I wonder how white people look at me'. Meet affected millennial Priya and gobshite 'home girl' Jaz. Two fiercely strong British Indian women forced into each other’s company in an audition room whilst striving to land the role of Maharani Jind Kaur, an iconic Indian queen from India’s colonial past. Disagreements soon emerge. Most especially about the core questions. So what exactly does it mean to be British and Indian? Their tumultuous conversation drives itself to an emotional climax. Don’t expect anything less than fights, laughs, tantrums and the intergenerational female war cry!
