As a child of the 1960s who grew up on Scooby Doo cartoons, this was a real treat. The script was funny, the four main actors were solid, but the star of the show was the guy who stood in at the last minute for all the supporting roles. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I was really excited for this but walked away feeling like it was kind of stale. The premise was very funny and some joke really landed and made me laugh but a lot of it felt like it could benefit from a rewrite. Joey Richter and Lauren Lopez were fantastic standouts in the cast. Honorable mention to the director of the show who had to step up to play like 10 different roles due to a cast member illness. He did great considering the circumstances. Overall, I liked this show but didn’t love it.

Sadly this disappointed me: I just didn’t feel it was their best work. The pacing was slow and the comedic timing was off, and I found myself forcing to laugh because I wanted it to be funny more often than I genuinely laughed. I will say it was a pleasure seeing Joey Richter and Lauren Lopez onstage in such an intimate space: they really are just so good

SO MUCH FUN! Went just over a week ago now and every time I think back to this I just have the biggest grin on my face. Managed to turn my younger sister's opinion around within the first minute, she also loved it! Go see it before the end of the Fringe, you definitely won't be disappointed!!!

"I wonder what happened to Mystery Inc. after Scooby-Doo?" is a question that's been asked before: heck, Scooby-Doo itself did that in the 2002 movie! Solve It Squad from Tin Can Bros asks this, too, and the answer here is hilarious and definitely not for children.

Washed up, full of regrets, longing for the past in some cases and resenting it in others, the squad come together to solve the mystery of their beloved dog's death 20 years ago in a play which is a riot from start to finish. The acting is excellent, the comic timing perfect, the jokes land and it manages to both send up and be a love letter to Scooby-Doo all at once. A lot of fun and absolutely worth watching for fans of those four meddling kids and their mystery-solving dog.

Others have said it better than I can, jinkies!

Go see the show, it is worth every penny!

This show is so good we saw it twice in our only week in Edinburgh! This team performs so effortlessly as a collective, made even more impressive by having an understudy in one of only five roles!! The nostalgia from Scooby-Doo alone would be enough to carry this show, but the cast put in 110% each and every day in this utterly brilliantly written show.

Having a large loyal cohort of fans means that even if you have never heard of the Tin Can Bros of Team Starkid, you will be welcomed with open arms into one of the best audience atmospheres at the fringe.

True delight to see this show (twice!), and cannot wait to see it get the recognition it deserves!

Small Warning: If you are a die-hard TCB or TS fan (like us!) you may need to queue up to an hour before the performance for a front-row seat!

This was a brilliant show, really funny and dark (not too dark, no nightmare fuel!) with a really slick performance.

Each cast member was excellent in their own right and collectively they seemed to gel really well. They did their original Scooby Squad counterparts justice, the characters felt realistic so die-hard fans won’t feel cheated with lazy interpretations of the original material.

The time absolutely flew by and although the concept is 100% Edinburgh Fringe the show was so polished it wouldn’t feel out of place in a much larger theatre.

Can’t recommend enough, I would say a basic understanding of the Scooby Gang will make this more enjoyable but I still think anyone will find something to laugh about.

Would absolutely recommend. As a long time TCB fan I couldn't wait to see this and was a bit disappointed that Lauren seems to be out for the entire run (?) which wasn't announced beforehand in any way. Nevertheless, her understudy did an amazing job and gave an incredible performance. As someone who has seen the show before in its original version, this felt a bit...chaotic? (Even aside from the understudy thing) Not sure what happened but given that it's a comedy it didn't take away from this hysterically funny play.
This shortened version didn't have some moments from the original that I liked but managed to tell the entire story and keep in the most iconic bits.

I don’t know if I can sing this show’s praises high enough but, look: you know Starkid, you know the source material, but the mystery is just how much fun an ensemble of 5 can have. Perfectly paced and staged, writing that was whip-smart and crimescene-funny, with a light hand on the tropes.

The cast *bleeds* charisma. A special shoutout to Keith, who I truly wanted to hate, but Gabe Greenspan managed to bring enough fey-like mirth to him I jsut couldn’t and to the actress whose name I didn’t catch because she was, and I am not kidding, a LAST minute substitution who managed to slip into a well-oiled machine despite reading the script for the first time during the performance I saw! That would be a feat in and of itself, but it also bares special mentioning that this ensemble is so in synch they could pull that off without the wheels falling off.

This show also featured one of my favorite “Guy Wearing Too Many Hats” scenes I’ve ever seen. Somebody get these kids a proper budget, I can’t wait to see what they do with it.

Yoinks! It was fantastic to see this show live. Really funny, well told, and somehow feelgood in the end. Good, better, best, bester!!

It was very fun and funny. The audience were full of applause.
The venue was a smallish lecture theatre with a temporary stage which made us feel a little doubtful at first but they made good use of it. One improvement opportunity is to balance the audio for their song because their voices were hard to hear over by the loud music track during the opener.
Good job

If you love Scooby Doo or best friends reconnecting in their adulthood, this show is for you! It's just great fun and we came out of the venue with large grins on our faces.
