Description
For the last 30 years, Snake Boy was raised by a family of red-bellied black snakes in the Australian Outback. Now, he's leaving his life behind to follow his dreams in New York. But how can he ever say 'I'm walking here' if he's never walked? Snake Boy needs your help. Teach him hotdogs and bagels! Teach him Broadway! Teach him arms and legs! Alexander Richmond presents the sequel to his award-winning show The Marvellous Snake Boy.Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Not everyone’s gonna be ready for this one. Snake boy takes Manhattan was an absurd showcase of improvisation & story telling. I did not know what to expect from this one man show. And I think that is how it is best experienced.. Alexander, is a comedian who resonates with you if you are a fan of the greats from Charlie Chaplin to mighty Boosh.

Very cosy in the wee yurt and very funny. Alexander is a gentle comedian reacting and responding well to his audience. Recommended

Absurd, silly and conveying so much emotions through each character - mainly unstoppable fits of laughter. Snake boy is the best at working with the crowd, and the best show at the Fringe in my opinion.

Dear Snake Boy. I’m glad you found peace. Thank you for making me laugh, squirm, and slither. It was an honor to come with you on your journey - you taught me a lot and split my sides.
Dear audience - this is a rollicking show of surprises, twists, laughter and snakes. Don’t you dare miss it.

Snake boy is a fine snake who brought me an hour of extreme joy. Snake boy had me
In genuine fits of laughter, I couldn’t have thought of a better show to end my fringe on! Be prepared for weird and wonderful and definitely spend an hour of your time here, you will laugh and maybe (?) even learn something valuable. Thanks snake boy I hope you make it wherever you go next!
