Description

After a tour in the Marines, Mike Eshaq traded his rifle in for a microphone! Eshaq is Middle Eastern, a United States Marine and a Muslim who can't stop eating bacon. Born in Detroit to Yemeni immigrants... from Indonesia, Mike is just as confused about that as you are! Some of his TV credits include Detroiters on Comedy Central, Grace and Frankie on Netflix and Station 19 on ABC. Mike has headlined The Comedy Store LJ, Mark Ridleys Comedy Castle, House of Comedy, Haha Comedy Club and much more!

Mike is very funny - really enjoyed the show - highly recommend - luved how he ad libbed his audience interactions - very quick and he kept us rolling along - looking forward to catching more of his shows in the future

We were looking for one last show before we headed off to airport and Mike flyered us - what a result as this show proved to be our best show visited over our 3 day stay. Mike is incredibly funny, engaging and held/read the audience very well. This is definitely a must-see show, can’t recommend more

Bumped into Mike in the GrassMarket and he persuaded my wife and I to go to his show. The show was great, lots of belly laughs and great observations. Highly recommended.

Mike stopped us in The Grassmarket with a flyer, and he was so engaging that we went along to his show, and are so glad that we did. He's a really funny guy, extremely likeable, and deftly covers a lot of ground from Detroit to LA and points between, with some gentle politics here and there. Top stuff that deserves some attention.

The crowd was undeservingly small when I went, but ‘Sleeping with the Yemeni’ is one of the best shows out there!!

Fill this man’s seats. He’s outstandingly funny, and a brilliant bloke.
