Description

Sir Donald is the Patron of the Wagner Society of Scotland and for this event will be presenting a live interview about his career and methodology, focusing on his wide-ranging experience as conductor of Richard Wagner's operas. Then, on piano, he will accompany baritone Thomas Lehman in a live recital. The preceding night, Sir Donald will be conducting BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra performing Bruckner's 9th Symphony and Mahler's Des Knaben Wunderhorn for the Edinburgh International Festival at Usher Hall.
