Description
Meet Susie Miles and hear her captivating true stories from the era of apartheid. Susie transports you back to 1980s' Swaziland and the moving, disturbing and dangerous encounters she stumbled into as her naïve, foolhardy self. This is not your typical history. From harrowing meetings in hospital corridors, to causing a scene at a strip club, Shedding Light is a heartwarming, heartbreaking story of segregation, hope, and a world closer to ours than anyone might have thought. 'A splendid autobiographical piece' *****, 'I was witnessing the events in real-time and living them with you' ***** (Audience Reviews). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
