Description
A lifetime being a professional f*cking lunatic that enjoys swearing in front of people. Join me, the most Seymour Mace of all comedians, as I trawl through 35 years of shit digging out elusive nuggets. A different show every day, randomly rummaging through my massive pockets dictating its direction. An ageing, melancholy, misanthrope trying to save his inner child from the realisation of nothing. Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee. ***** (Times). ***** (One4Review.co.uk). 'Clever, rebellious, absurd and gloriously, gloriously silly' **** (Scotsman). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. A career retrospective finds Seymour bringing back some of his greatest hits from previous shows to great effect. As always, funny, smart & insightful. He recounts some genuinely awful experiences which other comedians would probably origami into a big emotional, award-baiting finish (or embroider into a 7 part Netflix series) but Seymour is just telling you what happened and inviting you to marvel at the long and difficult path he has trodden. By turns hilarious and genuinely touching. Even in the midst of 3,000 other shows, he is always worth an hour of your time.
