Description

At Bet On It Youth Theatre, aspiring actors will do anything to climb the ladder of success. Teachers and students alike believe in taking the work seriously. They also believe in taking themselves seriously. Prepare to get serious. Returning after sell-out Edinburgh Fringe shows in 2023, join writer-performers Charlotte Anne-Tilley (Almost Adult) and Mabel Thomas (Sugar) for big egos, emotional outbursts and a whole lot of drama in this unmissable character-driven satire. 'Tilley's engagement with the crowd is exceptional' (EdFestMag.com). 'Mabel Thomas is an incredible performer' (BingeFringe.com). ***** (ThreeWeeks).

If you have ever done youth theatre in your life you will recognise almost all the characters these two swiftly multi-role. I was not expecting to be full belly-laughing at 1 o'clock in the afternoon!
Jokes are so rapid-fire it's hard to keep up, the energy is infectious and the silliness is off the scale.
Left with my cheeks hurting!

This show should be selling out! Pure comedy racing down the highway without brakes

Really fun show - especially for this recovering theatre kid. Think Noises Off it were a two person show. Brings new meaning to immersive theatre. I feel like it should be selling out the run.

Talented actors with great physical comedy. The characters were fun and believable. The show itself would be improved by a stronger storyline and fewer characters overall. Looking forward to seeing these two grow

Great performance with many characters. Each of them has their own charm. We had a lot of laughs, it was full of silly and funny jokes. You really have to see this show!

Do you need more silliness in your life?

Lots of fun and laughter in this send up of life in general and youth theatre in particular.

Charlotte and Mabel are brilliant as they portray all the different characters in the “Bet On It” theatre company. Whether it’s the clever script or the nonsense slapstick, there’s something in this for everyone.

Five stars from me!

Absolutely brilliant as they jump from character to character, the fast-flowing non-stop caper keeps you laughing and entertained throughout the show.
