Description
An imaginative and diverse program, including world premieres of new classical music, with a special focus on settings of Gaelic poetry by Catriona Montgomery and from the Orthodox poetry of Konstantin Balmont and traditional Ukrainian Carols, featuring Hector Scott (violin), Shinobu Miki (clarinet), Hebba Benyaghla and Toni James (piano). Composers include Hans Gal, Graham Hair, Margaret McAllister and others. 'Scottish Voices has dazzled audiences around the world with their gleaming singing and impeccable musicianship. An explosion of sound and exuberance... The performance is simply stunning, Hair’s imagination seems to know no bounds' (Fanfare). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
