It was wonderful to meet Eunice and hear her share her thoughts. Unfortunately, we did not expect this to be a "conversations with" that was heavily centred around sustainability as we would not have attended if it was correctly promoted as such.

We attended because we wanted to hear about her life as a supermodel, her highs and lows, and follow her behind-the-scenes into the designs and artistry of the world's top fashion houses.

Instead, we got a Q&A by a host who was focused substantially on asking Eunice about how to make the fashion industry more sustainable, and even then, without a fuller context where income and cost of living disparity, economic principles such as the cost efficiency of specialization, difference in attitudes to hard work, and most importantly, the beauty of design, were all not considered.
