Description
Composing Sacred Music: A New Generation. For almost two thousand years, gifted musicians have composed music for use in church. This event will showcase the work of four of Edinburgh’s newest young composers – Alexander Macnamee, Carlo Massimo, Viktor Seifert and Lucy Whiteside. A selection of their recent compositions in sacred music will be presented in this historic royal church by a special recruited professional choir, under the direction of Calum Robertson, director of Edinburgh University Singers. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
