I've seen several circus shows this week and this was by far my favourite and the one I enjoyed the most. The pace never flagged in this absolutely brilliant show. Poetry in motion. And I enjoyed every bit of it. Sexy, raunchy, good fun. Amazing acrobatics, dancing and singing and the performers are lovely people as well! Thank you!

Ok I went along knowing that this may be raunchy, but I really wasn't expecting full frontal male nudity - how is this acrobatic?
Saying that the show had energy but was quite sexually charged. One for the late night raucous viewer

William McKerracher 153 days ago

A highly sexually charged circus.

Great dancing and acrobatics abound but it's real power lies in the outrageous variety of scenarios the performers get through. It involves whips, dildos, hula-hoops, fire and a stack of chairs 8 high along with many many more.

The fast pace it is performed at with and boisterous energy and flamboyance it's impossible not to get caught up with the flow.

Technicaly perfect, hugely engaging and consistently shocking this is the most unforgettable thing I've seen in ages.

Loved it! Kept us laughing and the skill of all the performers was amazing. A thrilling show without being too serious. Perfect.

Entertaining but there are better acrobats at the fringe. Getting naked does not compensate for less talent. However it is entertaining but don't expect the Wow that other acrobats have

The best show I’ve seen at Fringe! Sexy, funny and highly skilled. What more could you want from a show?!

Paul Harwood 161 days ago

This was an outstanding show. It was the end of the fringe for some of our group and was a perfect finish. Funny, skilful, shocking, clever. A must see.

This style of cabaret is just what the Fringe needs, representation that doesn’t box itself in. This is a show that welcomes in all kinds of sex and love, embraces it, then gives it a big sexy kiss on the cheek and sends it back out into the town with a rouge lipstick mark right across its face.

he ingredient that really makes the show work is its Victorian counterbalance of decorum and ritual expressed in the over the top Vegas-like costumes and especially in the beautiful operatic singing by Issie Hart. Speaking of circus, the acrobatic leaps of flyer Madison Burleigh with Liam DeJong are so clean and precise as to inspire double takes, and the aerial act by Westbrook on straps brings a welcome shift of energy from the frantic naked hooping and dancing with a lampshade on.

Billing itself as a decadent circus for adults, Rouge delivers on nearly all fronts (and rears), where the gasps come as much from the ‘did I really just see that?’ moments as they do from the impressive acrobatic feats on offer.A gloriously camp Frank N Furter style ringmaster-of-sorts gets things...
