Description

Lady Clementine has until her 27th birthday to find The One. When her latest beau goes missing, she embarks on a hilariously unhinged quest to solve the mystery of her ill fortune. But with neither sense nor sensibility, will our romantic heroine find love in time? Set roughly "in the past'', this is a story about sickly sisters, self-love and Sylvanian Families. Bonnets at the ready, ladies, for the debut character comedy show of the (Scorpio) season. 'Bridgerton-meets-Gen-Z-Jane-Austen-on-Adderall' ***** (FringeBiscuit.com). 'Cheeks ached from laughing' ***** (Voice Magazine). 'A comedy star in the making' ***** (RachelReviewed.com).

Been at the Fringe for a week and seen so many amazing shows but this one was by far my favourite. Unbelievably funny and (somewhat embarrassingly) relatable. I have recommended it to all my friends. Rosalie Minnitt is just sublime. Literally left the performance and immediately booked tickets to see it again, thanks for creating something so joyful

You more than ‘fill yer boots’ at this comic extravaganza. Beautifully crafted and energetically performed, this show is an absolute gem. Exceptional comic timing, spontaneous wit and warm interaction with the audience, ‘Clementine’ is a must-see par excellence. A star in the wings.

A clever sendup of dating and self esteem through a wacky trip through a world of period drama absurdist sendup. Just delightfully mad, fast paced, silly and smart

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the most fascinating mixes of hilarious, clever, beautiful, strange, inventive and genius — in absolutely equal measure – that I’ve ever seen. It’s one of the shows where you feel sorry for the performer – in this case Rosalie – for having to perform it… because my God it looks like it must be EXHAUSTING to commit so hard and nail it night after night. Every time it felt like the show had wrung every drop out of a joke, it would rapidly shift to a completely new way of being funny - and then absolutely nail that one too. Everyone’s telling you how funny this is - and yes! (that too) - but my God is it one of the most intricate and satisfying narrative arcs I have ever actually experienced… One of the best endings to a story I’ve ever seen, while also being hilarious/poignant/original/witty all at once! How did a 60 minute show feel like it contained as much content as The Lord of the Rings?; Why did I cry at the denouement of a Sylvanian mouse?; When did people who do comedy start becoming good at everything else, all at once?! Go and see this as quickly as you can.

An absolute chaotic treat. Couldn't stop laughing. Get there early for a front row seat you won't regret it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best show we saw at the fringe! Clever, funny, energetic and warm. Felt like Clementine was our friend. And made even better by Bradley from the audience

Amazing perfomer and an exuberant wit! Truly the best show I've seen at Fringe. A star in the making, nebulous and fabulous!

This is the most hilarious and well-made solo show that I have seen in ages. The number of jokes and references, the incredible performance... simply brilliant!

This show is everything I love about the Fringe. A brilliant, high-energy performance, the sharpest of writing and pure unadulterated silliness. An hour of escapism from a wonderfully creative mind. *****

A show full of energy, very funny and like no other. We really had a good time. Having Bridgetown/downtown abbey and glee references enhances the experience but is not a requirement. Go see it!

Rosalie Minnitt's: Clementine is a work of genius wrapped in a frenzy of fabulousness, it is topical, packs a punch and makes a firm statement about the unrealistic expectations on women and how to reject the pressure.

Rosalie Minnitt gives a polished performance filled with energy, humour, and a good dose of insanity. 'Clementine' is a beautifully written work, bursting with love and light. To quote Clementine herself: “Trigger warning: it’s great”.
