The perfect way to induldge in this feminist classic, seeing as Virginia's Woolf essay was based on a lecture. The delivery brings Woolf's thoughts to life as the actress takes on us on a journey from Oxbridge to London, into our present day and beyond. Great for discussions after the show, filled with lots of thoughts and engaging metaphors, delivered freshly off the lips of Virgina Woolf.

I love the book and loved this one-woman show. So enjoyed an afternoon in the company of Virginia Woolf. Rebecca Vaughan put on a great performance. Loved the attention to detail from the books on the table to the period shoes she wore. Five stars.

As ever, Dyad and Rebecca Vaughn deliver the goods in this excellent production. Rebecca sets out Virginia Woolf's argument in fine style.
Not the easiest of venues to attend as there does not seem to be good public transport access, but there is parking.
Try and catch this show, you will not be disappointed!

It’s a great play to watch in a beautiful setting, whether you’ve read the book before or not. It’ll make your heart “sing”.

Rebecca Vaughan has a gift for not only making any character that she performs believable, but also for absorbing any audience into the world that she is creating using only words, her performance skills and the most minimal of stage sets.
