Description

Life is a fragile magic we are trying to hold, always hoping to fully grasp it. At this point of humanity's evolution we think we know everything but, at the same time, we have never been as lonely as we are right now, never been as lost as we are right now. What if ancient gods and rituals were, after all, more advanced than us? Can we reach out to them and ask for help to come back home to ourselves?

A delicate tapestry of absolute truth: exactly what theatre should be! See this show, support this work, and allow Valeriya Pushkareva's artistry to uplift your soul into the most divine forms of humanity.

Valeria crafts a intricate web of raw characters with powerful voice work and physicality. Her ability to morph before your eyes from monster to young girl and back again is beautiful and disturbing to watch. The text is poetic and is unafraid to tackle some difficult topics. And yet Valeria performs with aplomb!

With the Fringe drawing to a close this is a hidden gem NOT to be missed. A beautiful abstract piece of art with a raw, real and truthful telling of Valerias journey into witchcraft that leaves her naked on stage holding the audience with elegance and grace whilst forcing us to realise our inherent flaws. Holding a mirror up to humanity. 5 Stars

Ritual: Red spoke to the inner most parts of me and moved me in ways that I cannot fully communicate. It is a beautiful show and Valeria is an incredible artist.

Although I never explicitly saw suicidal themes, Valeriya Pushkareva's costumes, choreography and poetry pull you into her story of becoming a witch with glimpses of an inner world that entrances and charms the audience. Come see this show for its gorgeous physical artistry and risk-taking. It is truly worth a watch and truly "Fringe"!
