Description

Rita is an ageing, washed-up club singer from Manchester with a chip on her shoulder and a Marlboro Light in her hand. Her latest singing student, Wee Dougie, is a Glaswegian boy with a dream. He is also in love with her. After many years of failure, Rita is determined to make Dougie a star. Think Harold and Maud meets An Audience with Michael Bublé in this clown meets cabaret meets kitchen sink drama about two lost souls with dreams so big they can barely fit into the scout hall they rehearse in.

One of my favorite shows at fringe!! Both performers are so open and silly in the best way possible. I'm very excited to see what these two do next. SEE THIS SHOW
