Description
On the first day of Fringe 2023 Raymond had a stroke and didn't even realise it for two days! He was hospitalised and had to cancel, but he's better now and back to tell you all about it. A veteran of the Fringe, Raymond is one of the most consistently funny comedians on the comedy circuit, known for combining brilliant storytelling, sharp observations and blinding improvisation. 'Funny and cathartic' (Scotsman). 'A man who knows how to swear properly' (Billy Connolly). 'Improvisational genius' (Frankie Boyle). 'An arsehole' (Raymond's Ex-wife).Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Quite why Raymond has not been picked up by a major TV Comedy programme is a mystery. His ad lib work is I'd say the best in the business and he's as likely to crack a quip about a Victorian Engineer as Leonardo Da Vinci - very well read and erudite!
The show is laugh out loud funny from the off - did he really just say that? the material is delivered with a twinkle in the eye and a charming smile so the victims....errr I mean participants feel part of the show and not the butt of the jokes. Quality stuff and I'd say better than ever after last year's health scare. A solid 5* night after night.

Excellent stand up. Honest, Scottish and hilarious comedian. Sit in the front row if you are not easily offended and want to be terrorised by his quick wit and visceral insults
