This was a very moving piece. It sent a powerful message. Brillliant choreography. I especially liked our group hug at the end.

I enjoyed watching show very much and highly recommend it. I'm actually not so very much into physical theatre or dance, because I usually I find it difficult to understand the message. And without that performances have to be especially outstanding to keep my mind from getting distracted. But this show kept me alert every second of it's duration - and it is outstanding.
The message was clearly transported by physical acting, supported by sparingly used verbal elements. The repetition of crucial elements illustrated the psychological pressure under which some? many? most? Chinese mothers put their daughters in a highly vivid way. Equally impressive were the representations of the daughter's desperate attempts to free themselves of this pressure. The performance was visually mesmerising and I will probably go and see the show again.
