Description

Pub Choir is low-key a big deal in Australia, but we realise that counts for nothing because it's so far away! So here we are, flying around the world to prove our point: everybody can sing (not well, but literally). Come and experience an extremely chaotic music lesson led by witch/teacher Astrid Jorgensen who'll have you belting out a song in three-part harmony with a room full of average strangers. Somehow it works. Trust us, ok? A group activity that doesn't suck, for people who do!

We were so looking forward to this show but unfortunately had to leave after 10 minutes as the venue made it impossible to endure. There were so many people crammed into such a small space you were getting crushed and I had a panic attack. If returning a bigger venue is a must !

Totally agree with the first review. Great idea and well delivered but the venue was totally wrong. Far too many people in a small space making it very difficult to enjoy the experience. A lot of people had to be up in the balcony area where you couldn’t see the screen at all. We had had enough after an hour as we couldn’t cope with the airless, crowded room any longer. Being 5ft 2 made it extra difficult for me to see anything. Shame, as it would otherwise have been great fun.

The concept is good and the delivery was fun, but the venue made it difficult to enjoy the evening. It was so busy that it felt immediately claustrophobic, and we couldn't find anywhere to stand with room to breathe where we could also see the screen which was crucial to the experience - and we were far from the last people in the queue so it only got busier. It would have been much better had they reduced capacity. Also, although it is advertised as 2hrs 15, it actually only lasted 1hr 45 including an interval. This felt long enough, but does diminish the value of the ticket.
