Description

A high-camp, chaotic drag cabaret written and performed by iconic Welsh mother and daughter drag-duo Polly Amorous and Esther Parade. Join Polly and Esther as they navigate chosen family, adolescence and villainous low-fat yogurt-based probiotic gut-health brands – all whilst serving intergenerational c*nt! A celebration of self-expression, a joyfully queer blend of drag, musical theatre and cabaret, and a tale of finding family in unlikely places. 'I'd give this six stars if I was a reviewer!' (Polly Amorous). 'Drag? At Fringe? Groundbreaking!' (Esther Parade).

Where do I even start…? Polly and Esther bring a fresh new perspective to the Edinburgh fridge! They are capable of showing a diverse range of complex emotions that really connect with the human spirit. They had me laughing, crying, smiling and singing along with pure glee. This performance is truly spectacular and a master class in showmanship. I’ve never been so sad to see the end of a show. Captivating from the very first chord to the very last note. Expect big things to come from Polly and Esther!

I ran into the queens after show and took their flyer, and knew that my boyfriend and I had to see their show. As an American drag queen who worked in the probiotics industry and faced homophobia in the work place, this show hit close from home and was incredible. I loved every bit of this show! Love love love love Polly & Esther!!

The performers’ joy is infectious! The show is hilarious, musical, and camp with beautiful themes of friends, family, and queerness throughout!

Polly & Esther is a high camp insight into the experience of trying to build a career in the modern drag world, told with a handful of magic, whimsy, and their goregous musical harmonies. If you've never been to a drag show before or, like me, are a regular at your local cabaret, Polly & Esther has something to offer. I can really see this duo becoming a mainstay of the Edinburgh Fringe, and I really hope this show is the start of a wonderful legacy for them.

Polly & Esther put on one hell of a show. Campy comedy at it's best! But it's also full of heart. Do not miss this show!!

PURE JOY. So silly, so fun, and packed full of heart. I loved it. And my mum loved it, and if she loves something then it MUST be good.

Definitely not Polly Amorous 90 days ago

Very good, Polly was very talented and very beautiful and this is definitely not Polly. 10 stars.

Uplifting and heartwarming jukebox musical and cabaret show. Polly and Esther’s show is raw, authentic, and deeply entertaining, and it doesn’t shy away from delivering important messages. A must-see for LGBTQ+ people and allies.

It has a bit of everything of what you expect in a Drag queen show. Drama, music, weird plots and a lot of dancing and glitter.

It keeps you entertained for the whole hour!
