Description
An exhilarating new spin on Oscar Wilde’s Victorian classic. Dorian, a vain and hedonistic socialite, unknowingly sets a curse for his portrait to age in return for eternal youth and beauty. As he indulges in a riotous spree of debauchery, the consequences of his wishes are revealed with tragic costs. A fast-paced adaptation featuring music, slapstick and plenty of Wildean wit. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. One of the best things I’ve seen at the Fringe this year. Inventive, fast paced, hilarious. A very talented cast.
Oscar would have approved.

Oscar Wilde actually told me personally that he loved this show

This show is not what I expected - but in the best way possible. This modern take on a historical classic broke through the mundane and typical and delivered a performance that will no doubt be a highlight of my experience at fringe. Each of the actors brought their characters to life in such a remarkable, memorable way. This is one show you don’t want to miss!

This was a wild card attendance for me and a delight. Funny enthusiastic performances using a modern upturn on this traditional story. The cast were incredibly likeable and committed. The audience in this small room loved it as did I. Highly recommended!
Suggestion Teacher introduce cast and situation at the end then let cast leave first to the foyer outside the door so audience can share directly their feelings as they leave. Acting is a confidence business and the direct feedback will enhance and enrich your development. Good luck with your lives you certainly will bring character to those around you.

Clever and hilarious, by a very talented, young all-female cast. In a cozy, intimate setting. Best show we've seen so far
