Description

I'm an Australian comedian. I live here now. I've done comedy on TV (Comedy Up Late), won a couple of awards (including the 2023 Beat the Frog World Series), have like six lines in a Netflix show (Why Are You Like This?) and this show will be funny. It’ll be 45 minutes of me talking and you laughing, plus I’m going to get a friend of mine in to open the show. The friend will also be a comedian, not some random accountant friend. Look, it's a work-in-progress show, but I think it'll be great.

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: There are 2 steps into the main bar area and then 20 steps down into the performance space area. Narrow passages at performance space level to the three small performance spaces.

    • Wheelchair access type: Not fully wheelchair accessible

  • Stairs: 20+
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance

A fantastic opening act (don't recall her name!) set the perfect tone and warmed up the room for continuous laughter at Peter's observations and opinions. From light-hearted and silly to "I hadn't thought of that" moments, I had a great time watching Peter's work-in-progress from start to finish!
