Description

Rifco Theatre brings you an immersive DJ deck-off. You're invited to Pali and Jay's latest wedding gig, their make-or-break moment. The uncle and nephew duo are determined to climb the Internet search rankings as Southall's 19th best DJs, a badge of honour worn with pride as they strive for double bookings and the last tile of their ultimate dance-floor. As they adjust the crossfaders, they must work together to save more than their reputation; their dreams and the fragile thread that ties them together – their bromance.

Such a great show! The vibes were great, the music was great. A really fun, joyous evening. I hope more people get to see this.

Unfortunately a show with weak material which can’t carry a 75min slot. Some genuine themes and potential but just felt dragged out and a bit like a panto. For a show that also relies on the atmosphere from the audience, the marketing has to be stronger to get bums on seats as it was pretty quiet.

A beautifully crafted two-hander which explores themes of family bonds, love, trust, and the Google page rankings for Asian Wedding DJ's in Southhall. This was a well-staged, thoroughly entertaining show, that literally has you dancing your way out of the theatre. We hope this returns to the fringe next year, honing this 75-minute show down to a tight 60-minute Asian Wedding DJ Extravaganza.

Absolutely fantastic!! Best show I’ve seen at the Fringe this year by far. The acting, writing, directing and staging all blew me away. One moment I’m laughing my head off and the next I’m in tears. This is a must see!
