What an amazing performance by Max Beken capturing the chaos Woodstock 99 ensued! The level of energy given throughout the performance, paired with the lighting, sound and impeccable writing, calls for a performance you won’t be able to take your eyes off. It manages to deal with some very hard hitting and difficult topics, true to the events, with consideration and performance vulnerability, making it a definite 5 star show. If you want to laugh and learn something this Fringe this is a must see!

An intense beautifully crafted script, sound scape and lights draw you in and a young actor Max Beken with so much skill and passion provides a true 5* performance. Full of energy taking the audience on such a dramatic journey. Tell your friends!

An energetic one man show exploring the young man’s experience of the festival’s chaos. A personal journey of youth, love, drugs and self-expression. Amazing soundtrack and a fabulous performance - 5 stars!

A tightly written psycho-drama, performed by a charismatic performer. The story follows Robbie’s experiences at Woodstock 99 and we see the impact his behaviour has on his friends and family around him. The music and tech turns up the tension during the hour and as an audience member you are left thoroughly unsettled by the end - this is not a fluffy nostalgic look back at the 90s - be prepared!!

At times dreadfully written, this show wastes its chance to be impactful or particularly entertaining in numerous moments throughout. Plot points remain unresolved, characters underdeveloped and certain profanity feels unnecessary and ineffective. Even an impressively energetic acting performance could not fill all the gaps.

Definitely not a light show but if you're okay with a slightly heavier plot, strongly recommend this show - it's got a gripping plot, a brilliant actor and a great soundtrack.

Foreman takes the chaotic unease of Woodstock 99 and creates a dazzling period psychodrama, leaving much for a contemporary audience to reflect upon in our own society.
