Probably our most talked about gig this year, relevant for our time, personal story of triumph and heart warming twist at the end, was a standing ovation, we recommended to others who also loved it

If you only go and see one show at the fringe make this one your one!
Thoroughly entertaining from start to finished.
Aptly performed by one person!
Not to be missed

Darren Taylor 44 days ago

Absolutely brilliant show. Great story, funny, original score, very well written, sung and acted all by the same guy. You will laugh and cry

Hannah Simpson 47 days ago

Not only a compelling, powerful, absolutely true story lived by the very man performing before us sharing it so candidly and compassionately, but carried triumphantly through his own pure talent. Everything (and everyone) that made Noam, Noam, it was clearly for this.

This is the show you’ll say you saw back at Fringe when friends make posts next year holding up its inevitable off-Broadway Playbill. A must-see!

David Aitman 48 days ago

A great show - an entertaining and moving story told and sung with real humour. Ultimately so positive and uplifting. All of our group of four loved it. One of the best shows we’ve seen this year at the fringe.

Paul Shank 48 days ago

This is a must-see! Of the 20 shows we've seen so far, this is in the top five!

Serena Glover 49 days ago

An absolute gem of a show. Noam is incredibly engaging and clearly talented. I smiled throughout whilst also finding myself welling-up at points. Beautifully sung and performed with minimal staging, he perfectly commands the audience's attention. Lyrics sometimes felt like pure poetry and had a hint of the Sondheim. Everyone should see this show!

This show won best of the Toronto Fringe in 2023 and is the kind of show that makes you want to come to the Edinburgh Fringe.

This is a one-man musical with an engaging actor, clever words, a great story, and enjoyable music. It's a lot of fun and strikes just the right tone on a host of unusual emotional situations.

You definitely want to see this.

David Seymour 50 days ago

Brilliant one-man show. Funny, engaging, powerful depiction of a man's search for identity. Absolutely top-quality entertainment destined for higher things methinks!

James Pitt 51 days ago

This is so good. Really emotional and apart from the great story he sings so well. One of the best shows we have been to this week. You will love it. ❤️

Candace Green 51 days ago

This show has it all- an amazing story, told through sharp and quick witted lyrics. Noam sings beautifully, clearly enunciated, complemented by toe-tapping music- you'll be singing the songs in your sleep.
Poignant, funny, uplifting.
Surpasses any fringe show expectation.
Get your ticket now- it will be 10 times the price on Broadway!!
Best show I've seen by far!

I’ve been here for ten days and saw at least 35 shows, mostly musicals. This was definitely felt the most like a real musical. The storyline was heartwarming, the performance was warm and heartfelt, in short it was just spectacular. And I don’t generally like one man shows. GO SEE THIS SHOW!

So glad we saw this! Amazing writing and performance dealing with a difficult decision made in a different century when things when life was complicated in different ways. Very emotional and life affirming- even more so because his parents were in the audience. Highly recommended - 5/5!

If you are a musicals fans you’ll love this. It’s heartfelt, songs are great - lots of variety and super-well performed - and because it’s a true story it makes it really emotional. Definitely recommend.

Molly Kittle 58 days ago

Heart-forward and upbeat, this skillfully acted/sung musical beautifully balances humor and vulnerability. The rapid-fire monologues and playful score are woven around a surprising event; and a family's ability to re-write their story, transform their lineage, and shape a family legacy filled with love. Don't miss it!

Fabulous, autobiographical musical. Great lyrics throughout. An emotional one man show that'll leave you feeling warm inside. A must see for 2024.

Very funny yet touching show. Excellent singing. My husband wasn’t sure about this show before we watched it but we both thoroughly enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend seeing this show!

This is so good, I went with my 12 year old son and we both absolutely loved it. The music is great and the story will make you laugh and possibly cry! Go see it, you won’t regret it.

We have been coming to the Fringe for 20 years and this is one of the best shows we have ever seen. Fascinating true back story, brilliant songs, tightly produced and a gifted performer with such a story to tell. If there is only one thing you see at the Fringe this year make it this!

Ruby Foster 61 days ago

Really enjoyed this musical! From catchy musical numbers to a compelling (true) story this show is one to see! I saw this show on opening night which I know from experience can be the worst day for all areas of a show but the tech, crew and cast were all very impressive and everything ran smoothly! I wish the best to everyone involved and push anyone wanting to see the show to buy tickets now!

Andrew Kindness 61 days ago

Highly enjoyable hour but is a one-man show really a musical?

Just saw Our Little Secret … the 23 and me Musical. It won “best of” Fringe Toronto and it just received 5 stars in reviews from Edinburgh. The audience loved it and left the theatre on a high. Can’t recommend it highly enough. It was sold out last night so run and get your tickets!!

Barbara McDonald 62 days ago

An absolutely fun, campy and terrific ride awaits you in this truth is crazier than fiction story of how uncovering a secret can enrich your life as terrifying as it may seem. The lyrics to the songs were incredibly witty and the final song was stuck in my head the rest of the day. Loved it!

Rachel Montague 62 days ago

Amazing show.. definitely a must see for Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2024!! A one man show, a musical, hilarious, moving and captivating all the way… a story of a DNA test and new found family that followed. It really deserved to be the sell out that it was!!

Lynne Davis 63 days ago

Funny, touching, with clever lyrics and an excellent lone performer telling his own true story. Highly recommended.

Keith B 63 days ago

An excellent show. Such an interesting story of a secret revealed and then celebrated. All through the beautiful medium of song! An superb production.

Lena 64 days ago

What a show! How can one man can sing at such different ranges and styles is unbelievable, and the autobiographical story shows a depth of voices and perspectives that feels much longer than one hour (in a good way!). Highly recommended!
