Description

Begins with the history of dating from dance halls and slow sets to modern ‘apps’. Ryan and Kayleigh are lost in a world that’s got colder. There’s little chance of romance in bars. People don’t talk. Drink helps but not knowing when to stop brings trouble. Catchy raps accompany flashbacks in this fast paced comedy about self-discovery. Told from a town (Dublin) where the right option is to go home but unfortunately for many (Ryan) the decision is to have one more. ‘See the ‘Hardman’ soon becomes the barred man, often the tarred man, village joke, Mr Cartman.’
