Description
From the producers of last year's sell-out show Dusk: A Bite-Size Love Story, #NoFilter is a new musical based on real stories, real lives, real conversations and real Instagram feeds. In this Act One preview, #NoFilter follows three relatable characters and the effects that social media has on their lives and relationships. With a book and lyrics by Jack Storm and featuring a pop-rock score by Daniel Ruffing, #NoFilter promises to lift the veil on those "perfect" social media couples. We hope you'll swipe right on tickets to this original production! Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. If you haven’t been through it yourself, you’ve supported somebody that has. A hard hitting, emotional show with an incredible, original sound track featuring amazing stand out cast members. I cannot wait to see what’s next for #nofilter in the future. I wish I was here another night to see it all over again! Incredible work from Jack Storm, congratulations to you and your team on your Fringe premier of an amazing musical!

Came to watch after watching Dusk, I really hope there's a part two as this was one of my favourite shows I've seen at fringe and would love to know what happens next. Spoke to one of the performers briefly after who said there's a soundtrack coming, will be buying immediately. All cast were incredible but a special shout out to the Scottish actor who sang the only fans song, had me in stitches one minute and then broke my heart. Brilliant performance!!

Saw this show last night. Yes the audience was bad but so was the show. Needs A LOT of work - I really hope this was a workshop. Both music and cast are on track for a decent show but this just wasn’t it. Don’t waste your money!

So good I saw it twice!
Right from the start the music grabs you whilst making your way to your seat. I know Stanbak's music, and hearing it throughout the performance was very moving. The cast are brilliant and the vocals were outstanding.
Jack Storms story is very clear and current.
I loved it and I'm looking forward to seeing the full musical.

I went to see this on 21st and what a show with such a talented cast. My stand out performer was Savannah, what a voice. They were also all so very professional especially as there was a few hiccups (not their fault sound and a sofa collapsing) and on top of that there were a group of very ignorant people there, talking and laughing loudly and also on their phones. This was all very distracting to other members of the audience so cannot imagine how it felt for the poor cast! These people had no theatre etiquette at all and I can only presume they have never visited a theatre before!
I hope the show continues and goes on to better and greater things. Well done to all involved!

LOVED the show! Unfortunately some very rude people in the audience put a downer on our experience however the performers on stage were extremely professional and seemed to be able to ignore the very ignorant people in the audience who were talking, laughing and on their phones.
Well done to the incredible performers. Can’t wait to see this again

Really enjoyed this show with powerful vocal performances. Interesting modern concept it will be interesting to see if it develops The only negative was the quality of the sound

This show was…something for sure. After reading the synopsis of the show post-watch, I was left perplexed. For a show about the internet, I feel that the internet takes the biggest backseat within the piece. Merely being used as a short-handed device referenced in the back of scenes, and occasionally force fed to the audience with a ham fisted message. The material definitely feels like a workshopped script with much to clean and refine. The music is uninspired, with an overall mundane feeling and a “hello fellow kids” take on the lyrics. The plot is unclear and hard to follow with no time to latch on and care for any of them. All this wrapped with unintelligible speech throughout the entirety of the show, unbalanced levels in audio, and an unenthused casts makes for a show that I, genuinely , feel sorry writing a review for. There were some performers who stood out either with donating as much of themselves to the material that they could, creating interesting/real characters, or surprising vocal performances. I appreciate the performers that give themselves to the space every night, however, this being from the same producers who put on a twilight parody, I can’t tell whether this is supposed to be a serious message or another comedic spectacle where the joke is on us.

No words. Just unbelievably dreadful. The definition of so bad it's good. From the God awful lyrics to the horrendous performances, this show is the most fun I've had at Fringe. I was crying with laughter. Nothing made the slightest bit of sense which wasn't helped by the incoherent sound balancing. I'm not someone who would usually leave a comment like this but it was just incomprehensibly terrible and I loved every second.

Blown away by the vocals on this show. Took a chance from a flyer from the mile yesterday from one of the cast and so glad I did.

Phenomenal show with exceptionally well written songs, performed by very talented singers. This thought provoking show deserves to taken to a wider audience than the Fringe
