Description

Privilege has long served as a protective veil from the realities of the climate crisis. What happens when that veil starts to fade? And how do we love in a world that is slipping away? When a young couple settling into their new home must offer refuge to a distant acquaintance, they begin to fear that their ambitions for life are increasingly unrealistic. Through questioning love, loss, and the growing complexity of defining a ‘home’, this play sounds the alarm through a simple and recognisable portrayal of just how vulnerable our lifestyles may be.

A tragic love story against the backdrop of dramatic climate change consequences. A clever script performed by talented actors. The inability to do what needs to be done, the impossibility to accept the consequences of that, even love can’t conquer. Very moving, go and see!

What a find!!! Utterly Superb!! Engrossing & startling. Without doubt the most frightening aspect of climate change: what will it mean to love?? A captivating script; & actors who didn’t seem to be acting. Best thing I’ve seen so far!!!!

This is a well acted play, written and performed by a talented group of students, that looks at climate change in the microcosm of family, loss and sustainability.

This bittersweet drama explores an every man’s journey through this landscape with just three characters portrayed by the five talented actors. With a tight script that is both moving and meaningful I was hooked on their journey and loved the narration used.

Well worth an hour of your time from a very professional outfit that I will be keen to follow in the future.

The acting is confident and fluent in delivering the text produced by a writer with sensitivity to his characters and even a touch of the poet.
